Benjamin Rose


Ben was admitted as a solicitor 2009 after a period of training with a High Street firm in Hull, he went on to act as a Head of Civil and Commercial Litigation for a local firm. After a period working as In-House Solicitor for a FTSE listed travel company and their related airline, he returned to local private practice working in the professional negligence team of Hudgell's, before moving into an audit and Professional Support role with Minster Law. Ben has also spent a period working for an insurer backed firm offering advice to clients as diverse as School and Academy Trusts, EFL football clubs, craft breweries and landed estates.
In the last 4 years Ben has acted almost exclusively as a Deputy District Judge across the North-East of England, hearing matters in areas such as personal injury, contractual disputes, housing, and divorce. Ben also sits in the RCJ and Central London County Court and is authorised to sit in the Financial Remedies Court (previously known as Ancillary Relief). Ben has undertaken FDAs, FDR hearings and final hearings, including multi-day contested hearings with jurisdictional, business and inheritance issues.
